Tuesday, July 11

Vesper Services & Awards Ceremony

7:00 PM - The Vesper Services opening Philipsburg Heritage Days 2017 at the Trinity United Methodist Church. During the services Philipsburg Heritage Days Community Awards will be presented.

Vesper Services is presented by the Philipsburg Ministerium and sponsored by Beezer Heath Funeral Home. Music will be provided by the Valley Voices.

Community Awards are sponsored by Blaise Alexander Chevrolet Buick of Philipsburg.

 

Wednesday, July 12

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - Folk Art Form of Storytelling by Jan Kinney. Sponsored by CenClear, Pennsylvania Council On The Arts and Pennsylvania Partners In The Arts: Project Stream. Location: Reed Hall, Trinity United Methodist Church.

4:00 PM - Gymnastics Demonstration, YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

5:00 PM - "Elf the Musical" songs presentation by Student Youth Theatre of YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Stage.

6:30 PM - Devin Tekely & Friends. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Stage.

7:00 PM - Watermelon Eating Contest sponsored by Hi-Way Pizza. Registration at 7:00 PM, contest at 7:30 PM. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers. Sponsored by Hi-Way Pizza.

8:00 PM - Vision to None (Modern Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Stage.

 

Thursday, July 13

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

4:00 PM - Action Kids: The Big Event by First Baptist Church. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

5:00 PM - Dance Recital by Shaw and Ghaner. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:00 PM - Stix and Stones (Acoustic Classics). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

7:00 PM - The Brand (Rock, Pop, Country, Blues). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

7:00 PM - Valley Voices Concert. Location: Rowland Theatre.

8:00 PM - Thursday Night Live - Comedy Night. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

 

Friday, July 14

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Flower Show at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

10:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Children's Activities sponsored by CenClear and community agencies.

4:00 PM - Acoustic. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage

5:00 PM - "The Wizard of Oz" songs presentation by IGNITE Youth Theatre, Front and Centre Productions. Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

6:00 PM - Jazzercise. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers.

6:00 PM - Benn Herr (Acoustic). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

7:00 PM - Apple Brothers (Soft Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

8:00 PM - Hitchcock Railway (Classic Rock). Location: Edward Navasky Memorial Sound Stage.

 

Saturday, July 15

Sports for All Hearts 5K - Race organized by the YMCA of Centre County, Moshannon Valley Branch.

2:00 PM - Grand Parade. Fire company equipment judging will take place from 10 AM to Noon. NOTE: Judging will take place at the Peebles Plaza. The equipment will enter at the light on Irwin Drive and go into the parking lot. The area will be signed and marked off for judging. The equipment will then exit the lot back on Irwin Drive and go to the light make a right and come back into town.

5:00 PM - Drum and Bugle Corps Presentation. Location: Front Street near Philipsburg Towers. Sponsored by CNB Bank.

 

Sunday, July 16

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Car Show.
